 Help protect Connecticut`s rivers and wild spaces! REI hosts Hartford`s 2nd Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival at Cinestudio as a fundraiser for the Farmington River Watershed Association and the Park River Watershed Revitalization Initiative on Saturday, November 14 at 2:30 pm. Among the 9 excellent films being shown this year is the Wild and Scenic People’s Choice Award winning film “The Last Descent,” a beautiful, shocking look at threatened rivers in Nepal, Uganda and India, culminating with the team`s wild descent to the sections of California`s Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne, where the river remains in a natural state.
