organized by Sarah Raskin, Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience Researchers continue to search for sex differences in brain anatomy and function. Recent evidence has examined differences in brain function from imaging studies compared to performance on cognitive tests, such as tests of memory, mathematical reasoning and spatial functions. Effects of hormones have been suggested to explain some of these differences. In addition, there is evidence of sex differences in pathological states such as depression and attention deficit disorder. This panel will examine the current research on brain anatomy, behavior and cognitive function. *A light lunch will be provided for pre-registered participants only.
