Kyle Evans received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut in 2018. His research area is Mathematics Education and his dissertation was titled “Investigating the Relationship Between Mathematics Education and Global Citizenship Education Through K-12 Mathematics Teacher Perspectives.” Prior to attending UConn, Kyle was an undergraduate at Sacred Heart University, earning a B.S. in Mathematics in 2011.

Kyle is excited to continue his teaching at Trinity, and looks forward to teaching a wide range of courses. Teaching is one of his passions, and he lists his primary goals as engaging students in content through active learning and ties to social justice issues (when applicable), positively impacting students’ dispositions towards mathematics, and caring for each and every student as a human being, which includes being an advocate for mental health issues.
