Kirsti received her B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and her M.S. from Texas State University (both in Mathematics). She is a recent graduate of Clemson University where she earned her PhD in Mathematical Sciences. Her research interests are in the field of Graph Theory, and she looks forward to collaborating with Professor Georges and Professor Mauro over the upcoming years.
Over the past 7 years, Kirsti has taught Calculus at both Texas State University and Clemson University and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to teach at Trinity. She believes that the language of mathematics is one of the most beautiful forms of communication for it is both universal and one that every individual will struggle with at some level. For this reason, she strives to create an interactive classroom filled with ample opportunity to practice.
