Ellie Krakow earned her MFA in combined media from Hunter College in 2010.  Previous to that, she studied art at Yale University, The Rhode Island School of Design, and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.  Her work has been exhibited at galleries including Thierry Goldberg, Canada Gallery, International Studio and Curatorial Program, and Exit Art in New York; and Organhaus Art Space in China, The Royal College of Art in London, and The 18th Street Art Center in Los Angeles.  Recent honors include a Boomerang Fund for Artists Grant, an AIRspace Residency at the Abrons Arts Center, a fellowship at Yaddo, a Graff Travel Grant to Egypt, and nominations for the Rema Hort Mann and 140 Foundation grants.
