Sami Shamma is a recent newcomer to academia. He spent over 30 years in the commercial world working in IT and construction. Now he dedicates himself to the study and teaching of Arabic Language, especially the classical Arabic and, in particular, the Qur’anic Arabic. He also earned his Masters in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations. He is working on his Ph.D. in the “Sounds of the Qur’an” at the Hartford Seminary and the University of Exeter.
He currently holds an administrative position at the Hartford Seminary while simultaneously working on his doctorate and working on his first publications. |
