Lisa Molomot graduated from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles in 1998 with an M.F.A. in Film Editing. Since graduating, she has worked in documentary and fiction film as a producer, director, cameraperson and editor.  Her work has been seen on POV and Independent Lens, as well as at national and international film festivals.  Molomot recently edited the narrative feature The Destiny of Lesser Animals which premiered at MoMA and Lincoln Center in the series New Directors, New Films. Molomot’s other recent works include her hour-long documentary The Hill about a civil rights case in New Haven, CT and her documentary School's Out about the current state of kindergarten in the Western world, shot in both Switzerland and the United States. She is currently finishing another documentary about education.

During the last 10 years, Molomot has taught film production and documentary film history at Yale University and Wesleyan University.   This is her second year teaching at Trinity College.
