Sarah Gray is the current endowed postdoctoral fellow in Environmental Science. Her expertise is in analytical and environmental chemistry, and her research focuses on problems in aquatic biogeochemistry. At Trinity, this work includes the study of carbon and oxygen biogeochemistry in local Connecticut freshwater ponds and the Connecticut River. This research involves a strong field-based component, which gives Professor Gray’s students opportunities to learn about the scientific process outside of the traditional laboratory setting.
