Mary Leonard is an Associate of the Institute for Writing and Thinking at Bard College where she leads workshops for faculty and students. She has taught writing at all levels from fourth grade through graduate school. Presently, she is working on a literacy project in Ulster County.  She has published articles and poetry in local and national journals, most recently in Ilya's Honey out of Dallas and Hubbub out of Portland, Oregon.She has been the recipient of three NEH fellowships to study poetry in the US and in Europe. She also was able to research the educational system in Brazil on a Fulbright scholarship. Her website is: www.maryclareleonard.com
