As an Egyptian American, Fatma Wahdan Antar has a passion for teaching Arabic and the Arabic culture. Fatma helped establish Arabic language instruction at both the University of Connecticut and Trinity College. She has given many lectures on Islam and the Arabic culture to students at different colleges and universities as well as different interested groups.
Fatma is a trustee at Hartford Seminary. She serves on several other boards, as well, such as Inter-Religious Eco-Justice Network (IREJN), The Islamic Association of Greater Hartford, The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut, and the Connecticut Council for Interreligious Understanding (CCIU).
