Professor Elukin teaches courses in medieval history and Jewish studies. His current scholarly project is on the evolution of government secrecy in medieval and early modern England. He seeks to engage students in a dialogue about how to read the primary sources of history and to see how the events of the distant past still shape our lives. He emphasizes the centrality of written and spoken expression in small classes, independent research and tutorials whenever possible.
