Professor Brenneman is an environmental lawyer and Of counsel of the firm Murtha Cullina LLP, with offices in Hartford, Stamford, New Haven, CT and Woburn, MA.  He is currently co-chair of the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters.  He is the author of Private Approaches to the Preservation of Open Land (Conservation and Research Foundation) and numerous articles on land conservation and environmental and energy policy, and co-reporter of Uniform Conservation Easements Act, National Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. Ed. Land Saving Action (Island Press).  He has served as the president of the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority and chairman of the Connecticut Energy Advisory Board.  His past or present board memberships include:  Connecticut Forest and Park Association, Connecticut Chapter, The Nature Conservancy, Environment and Human Health, the Conservation Law Foundation of New England, Audubon Connecticut, Connecticut River Watershed Council and New England Natural Resources Center.  He is a former adjunct lecturer for the University of Connecticut School of Law.
