The end of the Jewish Sabbath is marked each week with a beautiful, musical and brief ceremony called Havdallah. The Hebrew word literally means "separation," referring to the separation between the Sabbath, a time of rest and renewal, and the rest of the normal work/study week. Hillel will be holding this brief and lovely service each week, with a campfire and something warm and yummy to eat and drink. |
