Hillel is sponsoring an alternative spring break trip for Trinity students to Montevideo, Uruguay. Students will spend a fantastic week of immersion in the Jewish culture of Uruguay, getting to know the city of Montevideo, and community service in and around the city. We will be working with an NGO called "A Roof for Uruguay," building houses for poverty stricken people.

The trip is first come, first served until we reach our goal of 15 participants. The cost of the trip will be approximately $1000, depending on fundraising efforts. The actual cost of the trip is approximately $2000 per person. (Considering that the flight costs at least $900, this is a very good deal. At present, with the grants that have already been pledged, the cost is down to $1500, so we are off to a very good start!)

The first deposit of $200 is due on November 16th. Please make your check out to Trinity College Hillel and bring it to Hillel or send it to the Hillel House in campus mail. This deposit is non refundable. (Sorry - once it goes to Uruguay to hold your place, we cannot get it back.)
